THE CELEBRATION CONTINUES!

Dear Parents,

We had so much fun this week celebrating Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year.  We celebrated Valentine's Day by painting and decorating colorful boxes to put our Valentine's cards in.  After filling our boxes with cards, we ate delicious cupcakes, and sang songs.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Lucky Bob, the magician came to visit us this week.  He put on a phenomenal show.  The children were giggling throughout the 45 minute performance and that is quite an accomplishment for a group of 3-5 year old children.  I am not sure who laughed more, the teachers or the children.

On Friday, we had a fabulous school-wide celebration.  Yuting (music teacher) taught the children the dragon dance while they listened to lively music.  Ruirong (Sally's Dad) made delicious dumplings,  Emily (Jeffrey's mom) read us a book about how Chinese New Year is celebrated, and Jing Chen (Gaven's mom) helped plan this special day.  Thank you for making this day a special one.

We finished the day off by marching down the hall with our masks, fans, and drums and having a delicious snack which included dumpling and oranges.

Fun in the Playground:
All our beautiful snow angels!

Do you think it's raining outside?

Happy New Year!

Love,
Ms. Bonne and Ms. Barbara
